Pilates Studio In The Hills opened in Castle Hill in 2001.
Thirteen years later, many of the original clients are still attending regular Pilates practice at the studio. Due to demand, an additional studio was opened in Rouse Hill Town Centre at the end of 2013.
All instructors are professionally trained in all aspects of Pilates, including full studio Pilates using the classical equipment such as the Reformer, Trapeze Table and Wunda Chair.
Our staff are the secret to our success. They are all passionate committed Pilates teachers who are thrilled when clients achieve their goals, whether they be toning and flattening abdominals, reducing pain or improving functional movements.
All instructors are trained to professional diploma level or equivalent. They are members of either the Pilates Alliance of Australia or the Australian Pilates Methods Association who maintain industry standards and training.

Some of you might remember Michelle from our Castle Hill Studio. Michelle studied and trained in Physiotherapy at the Progressuve Physiotherapy School, Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Her tertiary studied however, started 7 years prior at the University of Syndey where she completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology and Physiology. It was only her last subject that she complted "Comparative Primate Anatomy" that sparked her fascination for the human body and how we have evolved over centuries and millennia. Her Psychologystudied has also broadened her appreciation for treating patients in a hollistic manner.
The nextdegree Muchelle completed was a Masters in Exeerciseand Sports Science which allowed her post-graduate entry into her Physiotherapy Degree. During her studies, Michelle completed her STOTT Pilates certification in all equipment and all levels. She has used her Pilates as a tool to rehabiliate many of her clients and her Pilates style continually evolves baseed on current and relevant clinical practice.
Her classes are based on an idea of "Revision of Movement" as most clients she sess have adapted sub-optimal behaviours and movement patterns.
Since Michelle's university career she has developed into a well rounded physiotherapist that values building patein rapport, healing holistically, being an educator, and continually leanring and growing on her own skills. Michelle has a hands-on approach and knows when her patients can manage without her or needs to be referred on.
Michelle isn't treating, she is attending dance classes, musical rehearsals and generally being an animal lover!
Michelle would love to meet you and help prevent injury from occuring or find the answers to those lingering injuries and troubles with pirouettes.
